Admission Requirements

If you're committed to staying clean and willing to follow the program, here's what you need to know.

Who Can Apply?

The Anchor House is for adults who are committed to living drug and alcohol free and are ready to take on the responsibilities of a structured recovery home. We serve people transitioning out of treatment programs, incarceration, homelessness, or other unstable situations who need a safe, sober environment to rebuild from.

We don't require that you have everything figured out when you apply. We do require that you are serious about your recovery and willing to follow the program. If you have questions about whether you qualify, the best step is to reach out directly — we're happy to have that conversation.

Basic Requirements

All residents are expected to meet the following requirements. Contact us if you have questions about your specific situation.

  • Commitment to a drug and alcohol free lifestyle
  • Willingness to follow all house rules and expectations
  • Participation in required house meetings
  • Active pursuit of employment, education, or a structured recovery program
  • Completion of the application and intake process

  • Social Security card or documentation if available
  • Clothing and personal hygiene items
  • Any prescribed medications in their original pharmacy containers

The following items and behaviors are not permitted at The Anchor House. These rules exist to protect the safety and integrity of the community for everyone living here.
